Step into the world of Art and Love with Pixels and Paint by Kristi Ann Hunter! This is a delightful Christian contemporary romance that effortlessly combines the worlds of art, technology, and personal growth. We have GREAT engaging characters, a nice faith element and so many cute and funny moments! This book truly captures the essence of following one's passion and finding unexpected connections. I really related to our main character of Emma – her relaxed style, people-pleasing tendencies, love for video games and other personal interests – so relatable.

In this book, Carter Anderson has been struggling to find inspiration for his paintings – until he sees Emma at a local art showing. Emma’s not too thrilled to be there and he can see it immediately. He is so fascinated with her, and she becomes an inspiration for him to create new art that he hasn’t been able to create in 2 years! She is truly an answer to his prayers.

Emma is a TRUE people pleaser who tries to make her mom, sister, coworkers -everyone happy! Whether it be through her mom and sisters’ art events, her fashion choices, or her home décor – she is constantly trying to appeal to their wishes. We see Emma really grow in this book and start to realize it’s ok to just be who she is, regardless of what everyone else wants. She wants her family to be proud of the work she does in her job, so she ends up getting sucked into a project for the art museum that she really isn’t prepared for. That’s when Carter Anderson comes in as they talk all things art appreciation – while getting to know each other on a few dates along the way….

I am so glad I read this one – it was a great time! If you love a good rom-com, STEM romance and a sweet, lighthearted read, this is it! Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy to honestly read and review.

A Noble Masquerade - Kristi Ann Hunter - 5 Stars - A regency romance that will leave you with lots of laughs and loves!  (Book 1 in The Hawthorne House Series)

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH! Read this if you love books with lots of moments that will make you laugh out loud, regency romance, great characters, writing secret letters with your love interest, the trope of liking your brother's best friend and lots of secrets along the way leading up to a big reveal! Miranda and Ryland - MY HEART. One of my favorite couples of all time. This book had me laughing and was just a good time. Miranda is one of my favorite characters right now - she is SO funny and truly cares for others but she also ain't afraid to get right in the thick of things! Ryland was also such a good guy and so mysterious- LOVED him.

In this story, we have Lady Miranda Hawthorne who has written her brother's best friend, the Duke of Marshington, these pretend letters for many years. These were really more like journal entries and never meant to be read by anyone. Things get crazy when one accidentally gets mailed by her brother's valet, Marlow. With Miranda approaching spinsterhood, this is the last thing she needs. She finds herself with feelings for 2 men - one she has never met (the Duke of Marshington) and the other she needs in her life with all he has helped her with (Marlow) but he seems suspicious...what will Miranda decide as she gets involved in some serious conflicts....

Such a good lighthearted, Christian historical romance with regency balls, high-society life and all the things you want in a fun romance :)

A Lady of Esteem - Kristi Ann Hunter - 4 Stars - Such a great introduction to the characters of Hawthorne House! (Prequel 0.5 in The Hawthorne House Series)

What a fun introduction to the characters of Hawthorne House! I listened to this on audio since it was a quick listen and short novella that introduces us to Amelia and Anthony. Lots of regency vibes!

Amelia Stalwood lives in London but she has never really met any nobility or anything - her closest friends are servants. Her paths cross with the Hawthorne Family and their close family friend, Anthony, former Raeburn Rake. Anthony is very interested in her and I loved their interactions, especially when they first meet, I was laughing! Just as she is starting to get comfortable, she's blindsides by some unexpected changes and nasty rumors....the story took off here.

I enjoyed seeing Anthony's transformation and the ending was wrapped up really nicely. Amelia was such a great character too! Very entertaining read and I am excited to dive into book 1 of the official series!
